Animated Shows You Shouldn't Miss
Many people enjoy creating, writing, and drawing stories and films! There are many ways to do this, from making your own movie using a camera and a computer software program like Adobe Premiere to taking pictures and editing them in an app like Photoshop or Indesign to adding music and effects in free online tools such as YouTube and Soundcloud.
Some people make their living off of creative work- you probably know at least one person who does this! A large part of our society has become dependent upon creativity for entertainment and knowledge.
There are even companies that use artistic skills to promote products through the process of product placement or advertising. For example, if you love sports cars, you might have seen a car advertisement with an inspiring quote about being fearless with what you want.
That company just so happen to sell very expensive sportscars! The audience is thus influenced to buy that car because it features an inspirational statement. Product placement is a popular way to use art to influence others.
Star Wars

With every new movie in this franchise, there is always a lot of talk about how much it feels like the earlier movies. The settings are similar, characters seem to repeat themselves, and even some themes are re-used. This is because they are inspired by those before them.
As you probably know, George Lucas created the first five films in the now famous “Star Wars” trilogy. He then left the series for several years before returning with The Force Awakens almost eight years later!
He continued where he left off with The Return of Jedi (1983) and A New Hope (1977). Both of these titles refer to the opening scenes of each film, which feature our main heroes aboard the Millennium Falcon as they prepare for their next adventure.
Since we have already talked about what makes the films feel connected, let us look at why that is important.
Toy Story

One of Pixar’s most famous creations is definitely its toy-focused stories. With films such as Up, Monsters Inc., Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, and Zootopia telling tales about toys coming together to save the world, or exploring new worlds, toys have never been more popular!
But not all stories feature outcasts trying to find their place in the universe. Some are just plain fun to watch!
In fact, one of Pixar’s earliest works was an animated movie called 1992’s Toy Story. In it, Woody (a green plastic cowboy doll) comes across a baby blue ball that he decides to take home with him. He names this new friend “Bonnie” after the protagonist from A Little Princess.
As the film progresses, Bonnie grows up to be a very spirited child who loves dancing and listening to music. She even meets her match when she encounters Buzz Lightyear - another friendly plush toy looking for some space to his own. Together, these two embark on an adventure through the city while searching for their owner.
While many children may recognize elements of the plot, what makes the movie really stand out is how emotional it gets.
Frozen 2

While not necessarily a new concept, animated show or films have become increasingly popular in recent years. Gone are the days when people would create an animation movie like The Jungle Book! These days, you can find almost anything from any genre done completely in the style of something else. For example, many people enjoy watching Super Smash Bros., a fighting game series that has no gameplay other than hitting each other with various objects.
The way these games use visuals to tell their stories makes them very interesting to watch. A growing community of fans creates fan-made versions of different games called “tributes”or “homages”. People who admire the original game design and structure add special effects, music, and dialogue to make their own version more immersive.
With technology becoming easier to access every year, it is possible for anyone to try creating their own tribute or homage video. There are plenty of free tools available to help you get started. You do not need to be artistic to give your creative self a boost! Many people start out simply filming themselves doing things they already do and adding some special touches.
Animation is a medium that appeals to both children and adults, making it versatile for all types of audiences. If you ever wanted to try your hand at animating, there are now much better opportunities to do so.
Black Panther
The best way to describe this movie is as an action packed adventure! There are many themes tackled in this film such as racism, power, leadership, family, etc. But overall it is an incredible story about a black male protagonist who learns how to channel his energy into something productive and uses that knowledge to succeed in every aspect of his life.
The setting for most of the movie takes place around the year 2020 in Africa where T’Challa (played by Chadwick Boseman) returns home after being away for several years. When he arrives back home he finds things have changed a lot since he left including the kingdom being run by someone else.
This new leader does not treat his people with respect and makes false promises to keep them loyal through use of fear and intimidation. This changes when T’Challa comes across a device that will allow him to see what lies beyond the veil of our world which includes resources that are important to survive.
