Chow Restaurant Hollywood Fl
In early 2000, there was just one restaurant in downtown Glendale that people were talking about. It was The Grindhouse Cafe located at 909 W Sunset Boulevard. People loved this place for its creative menu items and incredible desserts!
The atmosphere of the cafe was what really set it apart from other restaurants at the time. There were very few decorations aside from some plants and pictures of past dishes on the wall.
When foodie blogs came along, The Grindhouse had already built up a loyal fan base due to their delicious eats and unique décor. So they decided to do something crazy - they opened a second location with all new decor and recipes!
That second location is where we find ourselves today - more than ten years later!
Chow Town has grown into a chain of eateries with two locations in Southern California. They are known for having extremely tasty Chinese cuisine as well as excellent service.
Their main focus seems to be taking advantage of fresh ingredients and culinary creativity. This helps make almost every dish unique and special.
Many people have praised the servers at both locations for being friendly and helpful, making them feel welcome. And speaking of welcoming, many have said how great it is to try different parts of the restaurant such as looking around or walking down the street while eating your meal.
This article will talk about 5 reasons why you should eat at a Chowtown restaurant at least once.
The menu

One of my favorite things about this restaurant is their extensive menu! There are always at least five or six different types of chicken dishes, as well as several vegetarian options. They also have many vegan choices if you are looking for some extra variety.
The biggest surprise to me was how fresh most ingredients were. I would often find myself waiting in line behind people who appeared to be more hungry than I was because they would get a bread basket with some rolls in it and then go back into the dining room to eat them.
I never experienced that here! All of the food looked very appetizing so I was constantly distracted from talking to my friends about what we wanted to order until I had actually started eating it.
That being said, I do not like spicy foods too much which can sometimes make trying new recipes difficult unless there are no spice limits.
Popular dishes

There are so many things that people recognize as being part of the Chows culinary style, it is hard to identify which ones make up the core of their menu. But what we can say for certain is that most everything in their restaurant has at least one slice of toast or baguette in it!
That includes almost every appetizer, snack, lunch plate option, and dinner main dish. Almost anything with cheese also contains bread. Even some desserts are not complete without it!
The chefs have even made French Toast Sticky Toffee Sundae (which we will talk about later) and Crunchy Butter Bread with Nut Spread (another favorite)!
All these foods clearly show how important the staff members feel good quality bread and toast products are to what makes an item taste good. They strive to use high-quality ingredients in all of them when possible!
Something else you may notice about the Chows food product list is that they seem to be surrounded by a wall of toppings and/or sauces. This was done to add more flavor to each item and create new variations.
Chef's choice

At lunch or dinner, you can choose to have what is called a chef’s special menu. This gives you a variety of food that the restaurant makes for you. Almost every item can be eaten without having to ask if you want it in bread or pasta or soup.
The staff will let you know what foods are needed to make up the rest of the meal and what recipes they use. If there are any left over bits, all are put into one big container and given to you!
This way you don’t have to worry about wasting anything, unless you didn’t like something. They also give you the nutrition info so you know what things contain and how much energy they give you.
