Released in 1937, Disney’s animated feature film Snow White and The 7 Dwarfs is one of the most well-known films ever made. It was not only popular because of its beautifully designed visuals and catchy soundtrack, but also due to how it influenced other filmmakers.

Many directors have cited this movie as inspiration for their own work. For example, both Walt Disney and Steven Spielberg have mentioned how they were inspired by the way that dwarfs are portrayed in this film.

Spielberg even goes so far as saying that he considered making his very first feature length film after watching this movie! This shows just how influential this film has been. Not only does it stand out among all others, but it also paved the way forward for many other movies.

The Birth of a Nation

Released in February 1907, The Birth of a Nation is considered by many to be the first true feature-length animated film. It was directed by Georgia filmmaker James Wilson McCarty and written by his brother Frank Robert McCarty.

The movie follows the story of two rival clans vying for control over their territory during the Civil War. One clan consists of noble characters who believe in justice while the other is comprised of villains who only want power.

Throughout the course of the movie, the audience gets to see how powerful truth can be as it cuts through corrupt leadership. This effect culminates at the climax of the movie when both sides unite to bring about total victory.

The movie also features several scenes that emphasize the importance of respect for others. For example, one scene shows the villain throwing his weapon into the water after he has been defeated. His opponent picks up the weapon and throws it away too, showing compassion for him.

The Great Movie Ride

The Great Movie Ride is one of the most well-known rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It was designed by Tony Chayka, who also worked on the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman ride at Universal Orlando Resort.

The ride opened in 1988 as Captain America Adventure Ocean Station. At that time it only had three screens and six scenes, but it was very popular with guests.

In 1999, the ride was re themed to be inspired by classic films. This new version included eight movie sets and more than 20 animated graphics. Many consider this newer version to be better because it features longer stories and more in depth settings.

However, some say the old version was better because it was more immersive. You could feel like you were part of the scene for each setting!

Either way, both versions are extremely popular and have raised many dollars for their charities. In fact, The Great Movie Ride has been listed as one of the top ten theme park attractions around the world.

It will always hold special place in our hearts as one of the first fully interactive movies ever made.
