Another day in Tinseltown, another upheaval - but this one feels different. Drescher let loose on the brunt end of an industry that, as she rightly alludes to, is undergoing ‘calibrated’ churn. It's never easy to be the lightning rod in these situations, but someone's got to do it.
Look, we all know that times are changing - faster than a Hollywood film plot, but the industry seems to be lagging behind, stuck in its classic narrative. Technology, streaming, the call for greater pay equity - all of these things require new contracts, new rules, and above all, new respect.
