How Get From Epcot To Hollywood Studios
As your Disney vacation comes to an end, you will need to consider where you want to go next! The hardest part is deciding if you want to stay in Central Florida or travel up north for fall foliage or winter sports.
If you are staying in Orlando, then your best bet is visiting Universal Orlandor SeaWorld. These parks are close together so it’s easy to get around, and there are many ways to spend time at each one independently- just like going to a new park would be.
If you already have a lot of invested Time At Walt Disney World, then thinking about traveling somewhere else makes sense. But if not, now is the perfect time to do it because you can take advantage of special offers and discounts during the Fall Season.
Take the monorail
One of the greatest things to do at Disney World is take advantage of the transportation options that are available to you! The MyMagic+ app has great features that can help you connect all forms of transport, including boat rides, the monorail, buses, or even the train if you have early access to the park.
The Magical Express Service offers hotel pick up service and drop off service for guests in Walt Disney World. You can use this service when traveling back home after your vacation!
If you’re staying near one of the theme parks, taking the Monorail will save you time and money as there is an entrance to the park right next to the station. If not, it’s still a cheap way to get around the area!
There is also the Swan Boat which takes you between Crescent Lake and Magic Kingdom.
Take a taxi
Taking public transportation is not your best bet since you will have to get off twice- once at the Transportation Center in Disney, and again at the park! This can be very time consuming if there are many stops or if it takes longer than expected to get into the parks.
If you do decide to take the bus or train, remember that these buses and trains run frequently during the day, but less often at night. If you’re traveling late at night, this could mean missing out on some of the fun at the park!
Also, keep in mind that most Walt Disney World Transit busses only accept smart cards, tap-and-go credit card payment systems, or exact change. This makes paying with cash more tedious for passengers.

Take a Disney bus to the Hollywood Studios
One of your most popular attractions at Walt Disney World is definitely The Haunted Mansion! This interactive experience features many different themes, but one of its main plots includes Madame Leota, a mysterious character who encourages guests to look within themselves for answers about their lives.
If you find her message interesting or even inspiring, then it’s worth noting that The Haunted Mansion isn’t exactly easy to get into unless you know how to take advantage of some very specific fast pass options. Luckily, there are ways to avoid this challenge if you don’t want to wait in lines!
A couple of buses depart from the Magic Kingdom every hour during operating hours between May and September, making them great alternatives to ride The Haunted Mansion.
Take a Disney bus to the Downtown Disney Resort
One of the trickiest ways to get from one park to another is figuring out how to get back home! Fortunately, there are many options for returning to your hotel or home base before you begin exploring the parks.
Many people choose to use an internal shuttle system that takes you between different parts of the resort. These can be expensive if used frequently so most resorts have limited number of buses that only go to certain destinations around the area.
Alternatively, there are several free transport modes available at Walt Disney World including water taxis, footpaths, and some popular walking paths and routes.
If you’re staying in the nearby tourist areas then taking the tram into Magic Kingdom will take you right next to The Haunted Mansion which is always a beautiful site to see. Buses run regularly during off-peak times so it’s worth checking out whether this service is free for early or late guests.
Take a taxi
If you are traveling from one park to another, or need to get somewhere quickly, then taking a taxi is your best bet. Taxis in Walt Disney World cost more than most people realize!
Taxi rates at the airport are particularly expensive due to all of the extra fees that companies like Uber and Lyft have installed. You will also be charged an additional fee by these apps to use their services through taxicabs, so it’s better to just take a cab directly instead.

Also remember that even though a GPS app may recommend a certain route, the traffic patterns in Florida are always changing, making this suggestion not very reliable.
Consider a new route
There are two main routes that get you from Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including those mentioned in this article. The first is taking the Express Route which is much faster than traveling via the more scenic but longer Highway.
The second option is to take the “backdoor” way of getting to HS - by going westbound on World Drive (US 192) instead of eastbound on Sunset Boulevard. This saves you about 2-3 miles and takes around 15 minutes extra depending on how fast you go!
Why should you consider switching up your travel plans? Because there can be significant savings if you do not mind spending some time exploring other parts of the area. For example, why spend hours driving through Universal or Downtown Orlando when you can simply hop onto Interstate 4 and continue heading south towards Miami?
You will also pass many wonderful attractions along the way, making it worth your while even if you never make it to HS. Plus, using these alternate routes can help keep traffic moving as efficiently as possible.
Plan your trip again
Now that you have a plan, get going! The best way to do this is by traveling during off-peak times at Disney. These are typically weeks or months around spring break, summer vacation, or the holidays.
Alternatively, you can also visit during “back-to-school” season in the fall and winter. There are many ways to spend time at Walt Disney World without spending a large amount of money if you know what to expect and when it’s open.

These connecting paths are sometimes referred to as “transportation” or “shuttle” services, but they go by several names depending on which company offers them and what name your organization chooses to use for yours.
Many times these types of transportation services will advertise themselves as being more cost efficient than taking regular buses or taxis because they already pay to be licensed so they usually get good discounts on fuel!
They also only charge per person instead of per space like a bus would, making it much cheaper for very large groups. Some companies offer special deals to students, senior citizens, and/or military personnel too!
It is important to know how each individual service operates before using them, just like you would with any other form of transport.
