How Is An Animated Film Made?
An animated film is quite different from any other form of movie you have seen before. It is not live action, nor are there any still pictures or videos that show part of the scene.
All scenes contain moving images and sound. This makes for some very busy filming conditions since the crew has to be constantly ready to start shooting.
Also, instead of having one camera position, many more positions are needed so that the artist can create various angles in each shot. There are also limitations as to what can be filmed due to time constraints.

Her talents were noticed by Pixar, where she worked as a concept artist helping develop ideas for new films. Since then, she has designed several more feature length animations including The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory and Ratchet & Clank Movie.

Color grading
A very important part of any animated film is color grading. This is done to change the hue, intensity, and tone of colors in a movie. For example, if you watch a show or movie that features bright, vibrant scenes, it may look like someone took all the colors out of the world!
Color grading allows for more nuance in how colors appear in a scene. It’s not just about taking away some of the brightness, but also changing the hue, value (lightness/darkeness), and texture (how smooth or grainy a color looks).
For instance, during the winter season, most people feel cold due to the air being heavier than normal. Because of this, dry areas such as skin get darker and wet areas such as eyes are looking heavy with blood so they seem redder. To achieve this effect, colorists have to use products to lighten up your face and make your eyelids slightly thicker.
Not only does this affect the appearance of the characters, but also their mood. People who love each other tend to share similar colors because they bond over similarities. Grading can be tricky though- sometimes things can go too far and the viewer cannot tell what is happening or why something feels off.
