How Many Rides Are At Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of their newer theme parks, but it doesn’t take long to feel like you are in a completely different world! The beautiful landscapes, lush vegetation, and interesting wildlife combine to make for an immersive experience.
At this park, guests can choose to spend time experiencing attractions such as It’s A Small World or Expedition Everest, or they can just stroll around and enjoy the surroundings. Either way, there’s always something new to see!

Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set
The other big change coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the removal of the classic movie set. In fact, it will be possible to enter the park and not find any trace that there was ever such a thing as the “Indiana Jones Adventure” or even an animatronic tiger!
The movie studio has been closed for several years now, but it will finally get torn down in early 2021. This won’t happen until after May 2020 when Walt Disney World’s first theme parks open across the country. So if you have a trip planned for later this year, don’t worry about missing out on any fun!
There are actually two different versions of what happens to the sets once they are dismantled. Some say that they are shipped and re-assembled in another location while others claim that they just get scrapped.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
In The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, you are taken to an entirely different world! As with any good theme park ride, there’s a story behind what you experience. Here, it's about terrorizing yourself through fear.
The attraction takes place in a dark room with water effects. You sit in a chair that drops down beside the water as you enter, then rises up again. When the drop happens, it is very scary - but when it raises, it feels cool and refreshing.
As guests emerge from the tower, many are surprised by how calm they feel. Only those who rode the attraction before know just how terrified they really were during the drop.
After your trip, some say they enjoyed staying dry while others claim the effect made them uncomfortable or even scared themselves.
However, most agree that the sensation was both surprising and unique. While other attractions use similar elements such as drops and flumes, this one adds an additional level of thrill.
There is also a small pool inside the tower where people can take a break if they like.
The Muppet Movie
One of my favorite rides is The Muppets Movie! This ride was inspired by one of the most famous movies ever made, A Bridge Too Far. In this movie, an allied military unit has to save a bridge they are known for while also protecting their headquarters from German troops trying to destroy it.
The team in this movie includes frogs, penguins, owls, elephants, and even dragons! At the end of the movie, everyone comes together as one group helping each other win. It’s an inspiring story that brings inspiration.
That is what The Muppets Movie is like! You get to experience lots of different types of animals behaving similarly to people. They play music, do tricks, and celebrate with you after you achieve something. Plus, there is a cool finale where all the characters come out!
There is so much going on during the ride, but I have a feeling that half of the guests will be focused on the monkeys and the rest will be thinking about how many times Kermit the Frog says his trademark line “Take care of me!”

Star Tours
With its iconic status, you would never need to look past Star Tours when it comes to experiencing the movie franchise as a beginner. It is one of the most popular attractions in all of Disney, with over 1 million people having ridden this attraction every year.
Star Tours is an interactive experience where guests are taken aboard the starship “Tapestry” for a tour around the galaxy. The ride features several different settings and scenarios that connect directly to the films, including encounters with characters from each of the movies!
At the end of the adventure, however, what really makes Star Tours special is how it connects back to the start of the journey- the exit!
As soon as the ride ends, guests will find themselves back outside of Tapestry where they boarded. They will then be greeted by Captain Rex, who invites them onto his ship for a short break before taking off again on their next mission.
This feeling of returning home after a great trip is definitely influenced by the fact that the ride takes place within the studio setting of Disneyland Park, making it feel more like traveling through space than exploring new lands somewhere else.
In addition to giving riders the sense of accomplishment that comes along with completing the ride, this element also encourages repeat visits due to the fun experiences that can occur during or beyond the ride.
Peter Pan
This experience is perfect for little ones who love to get into cars or ride toys. They can choose to do it as a one-time activity, or if you are more advanced, you can teach them how to be Super Car Operators!
At first, they will go with a trained professional driver that takes care of kids, but as parents we can work to have our own child drivers so they know what to do in case something happens!
The experience comes with two professionals and a parent rider. There’s also an instructor that rides along with the children which helps promote confidence and safety.
Madam Butterfly
In 2018, Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened its doors to guests for an extended stay. Now that we have you distracted for several hours, it is time to focus in on some of The World’s Most Famous Ballets most famous piece!
Madame Butterfly is one of those pieces everyone knows by heart. It has been featured in many forms throughout the years - both as a performance and as a representation or interpretation of the ballet.
The story follows Captain Katsura, who meets Cielo while he is traveling through Italy with his crew. They start dating, but she is not sure if he loves her enough to spend his life with her. She wonders whether he will leave her when he returns home.
Katsura wants to remain in Italy because there are still things left to see and do. He promises to come back soon so they can be together forever, which makes Cielo believe that he does love her.
They marry and she moves into his house, where he teaches music to young students. Unfortunately, he cannot devote much time to them due to work. His job takes him all over Japan, and eventually he must return to America alone.
He invites Cielo to join him, saying that she means more to him than anything else. But she feels like she owes everything to him and could not live without knowing what lies ahead.
The Little Mermaid
Let’s look at some numbers! There are actually eight rides in this category, but we will only consider seven because there is one very obvious choice for number six. As mentioned earlier, you can find The Little Mermaid almost anywhere throughout Disney World. It is also one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World, so it makes sense to count it as an honorary member of this list.
That said, here are the other six!
Seven Seas Voyage - Magic Kingdom
The Seven Seas Voyager is a boat-shaped ride that takes riders through the ocean aboard the ship of the same name. At each destination, the story changes slightly and new scenes are included.
One such scene features characters from The Lion King where guests get to watch Mufasa teach his son, Simba, how to be king. Another has Rafiki telling the young Kion about their future family members.
The attraction closes with a reminder of why protecting nature is important and ends with the statement “Leave No Trace - Keep Our Natural Spaces Clean.”
In total, the ride lasts around 8 minutes and reaches a top speed of 5 miles per hour. Because of this, children under 36 months usually do not enjoy this experience.
It is best advised for people between 6 years old and 10 years old to wait until they reach this age group before experiencing this ride.
Space Mountain
What is it? Probably one of the most popular rides in Disney, if not the most popular ride! You get to travel through space aboard an out-of-this-world coaster. During your voyage, you will go past planets, stars, and even some meteors!
At Disneyland, there’s also the Matterhorn Bobsled Ride which takes place inside a mountain. Both are very exciting experiences that leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Many people consider this as one of the top five favorite attractions at Walt Disney World Resort. Why? Because it’s such a unique experience every time you climb into the car!
You never know what will happen next because the track takes you around several different environments. There are also many stories about how riders feel while riding Spaceship Musterd, making it quite memorable.
There have been reports of guests crying due to the intensity of their adventure, but that’s what makes it special. It stimulates something within each person and they always talk about it with emotion.
