How Much Is Jedi Training At Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the biggest attractions in Florida, with its ever-expanding collection of experiences designed to appeal to all types of guests. With that said, there are some areas within the park that seem to be overlooked by many visitors.

One such area is the journey towards becoming an official Jedi in the franchise. While it may not be as popular as other rides like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or Mission: Space, it still has great potential if done right.

HollywoodStudios.com writer Jessica was given the opportunity to experience this side of the theme park while doing her research for this article. She enjoyed what she learned during her visit here and wanted to share her insights!

In this article you will find details about each stage of training along with our personal opinions and ratings.

Second step in Jedi training is to prepare your own lightsaber

The next stage of Jedi training is to learn how to make and use your own lightsaber. This will take some time as they do not give away secrets, but you can pick up tips and tricks along the way!

There are many ways to obtain a saber for practicing with. Some require you to purchase them or have someone else buy them for you, which is good because it removes the cost barrier for aspiring Jedi.

Many departments offer classes on making your own lightsabers, either free or very inexpensively. Many universities also have resources available such as YouTube videos and lectures that teach you the basics of lightsaber construction.

Third step in Jedi training is to find a teacher

The next stage of Jedi training is to find a master or instructor that you feel comfortable studying from. There are many ways to learn about the force, and it can be very personal for each student. Some may prefer yoga classes, while others may enjoy meditation or mindfulness practices.

There are several great resources available when looking into the art of the Force. Many universities and academic institutions offer courses in the study of the Force and how to use it effectively. These typically include lectures, discussion, and practice exercises so that students can get hands-on experience using the concept.

For example, most colleges have courses on Buddhism and the teachings of Lord Buddha. Buddhists focus on helping individuals achieve inner peace and happiness by living with more compassion and understanding towards other people. This can be applied to the study of the Force as there are different theories as to what the force actually is!

Buddhism was originally built around teaching individuals about the nature of life, death, and the self, which are all related concepts within the field of spirituality. By applying these lessons to our daily lives, we can develop ourselves as human beings and contribute to making the world a better place.

Fourth step in Jedi training is to practice meditation

The next stage of lightsaber mastery is learning how to relax your hands. Yours will probably get very busy holding onto or using your weapon, so it’s important to learn how to calm down and relax your hand.

Most people are not naturally good meditators, but there are several easy ways to achieve this. You can simply take some time each day to focus on your breathing or you can do yoga before mastering deeper levels of relaxation.

Practice mindfulness by focusing on what you're doing at the moment -- listening to music, grooming yourself, whatever you're doing right now. Just be aware of everything that's happening around you, but only for as long as the length of one breath.

When you've achieved this level of relaxed attention, then you'll know how to truly work with silence. When you have nothing external to distract you, your inner resources can grow stronger.

Fifth step in Jedi training is to learn the force

The next stage of your journey as a Jedi starts with you deciding what the force is for you. What are your strengths? Are you good with numbers, people, or things?

The first thing we can do as trainers here is help you identify your strength so that you can hone those skills and integrate them into Jedi practice.

Your strength comes from within yourself. If you’re not sure if this is true for you then don’t worry about it yet! But someone who has determined their strength can achieve great things by developing their talent.

So how do you find yours? There are many ways to do this. Some say through dreams, others through emotions, and some through action. All have merit depending on which part of the force you believe to be strong.

We will talk more about the different types of forces later but for now just know that there are several routes to finding out what your strength is.

Sixth step in Jedi training is to learn your lightsaber moves

The next stage of Jedi training is to learn how to use the lightsaber you were given during your training. These are called lightsaber moves or techniques. There are many types of these, but the two most popular are seen in the movies: the block and run technique and the spinning blade move.

The block and run technique begins with the student holding their lightsaber horizontally across their chest as if it were a sword. Then they quickly push the button down, making the handle become vertical, and running away as fast as possible!

This is typically done towards a very large opponent so that he cannot attack back properly. It is usually paired with a quick roundhouse kick because that can be used as an additional offensive tool once you have enough distance. This pair works well in almost any situation since you can always get out of range!

The second movement is more advanced and requires someone who has trained in the block and run to teach it to you first. This move takes advantage of the students natural agility by having them spin their weapon around themselves while keeping it close to their body.

This makes it harder for your enemy to hit you due to the rotating nature of the saber.

Seventh step in Jedi training is to make a plan for your future as a Jedi

As mentioned before, there are many ways you can pursue being a Jedi. Some feel that studying philosophy or psychology is key to becoming a powerful force of nature. Others believe that learning martial arts is important to develop strength and self-defense skills.

Yet others suggest joining an organization such as The Force Awakens Collegiate Organization (TFACO) or The Knights of the Realm so that you can learn about the art of meditation and knowledge of the ancient wisdom traditions.

All of these are great options if you want to dive deeper into the study of the Jedi! If none of these appeal to you, then simply exploring other areas of the occult is a good way to grow as a person.

Eighth step in Jedi training is to practice self-discipline

The next part of becoming a true Jedi comes down to you! This is the most important piece of the puzzle as it deals with your inner being or, as some call it, your spirit.

This means that if you’re ever feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, or tired, you must give yourself permission to stop. You cannot force yourself to keep going when you feel this way unless you have trained your body how to relax and rest.

By allowing yourself breaks, you are giving your mind and soul time to recover and re-focus. This also helps prevent burnout, which could potentially ruin your desire to become a Jedi.

On the other hand, if you do not allow yourself downtime, then your mental state will be constantly overworked and stressed. This can easily turn into depression or anxiety, both of which are very unhealthy for your overall well-being.

Self-care is an essential part of being healthy and happy, so start today by making time to do something that makes you happier each day.

Nth step in Jedi training is to become a Jedi

There are many steps involved in becoming a full-fledged Jedi, but none more important than the last. This is often overlooked as people get discouraged before they even begin. While it may sound cliché, actually achieving your dreams takes enough dedication and work that you can’t afford to give up easily.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is one goal for every guest of the “Jedi Experience” - entry into The Force. That isn’t necessarily the same thing as being able to use the force, or even knowing what the word means, but anyone can do anything if they are willing to put in the effort.

The most basic level of participation in TheForce is attending an event called Lights Out, which happens once per month during October through May. Guests walk around the park with glow sticks while listening to music and experiencing some type of activity. It’s completely free, but limited to guests under 18 years old (or accompanied by an adult).

Participants should be aware that not everyone uses The Force in the same way. Some simply enjoy using it as a tool to motivate themselves, while others feel it’s an opportunity to achieve spiritual enlightenment.
