How Much Is Planet Hollywood Resort Fee
At this time, there is no formal way to avoid paying the resort fee at Planet Hollywood! The hotel has made it very clear that they will continue to add fees for things like their WiFi or fitness centers until you pay up.
They have even gone as far as adding large fees for using your room amenities (like pool towels or workout equipment). It seems like every week something new gets added to the list of expensive privileges.
At this rate, PH could easily charge over $1,000 per year just for staying in quality hotels. And we all know what happens when a business starts charging excessive amounts of money for services. You lose customers!
We recommend always checking online before heading out to find a good deal or free service at a popular location.
Read the contract

At this point, there is no way to avoid paying the resort fee unless you do not want to spend money at their restaurants or use of their other services they offer like pool and gym access.
If you are looking to escape the resort fees, then be sure to check out our list above for ways to lower your hotel costs! You can also read our article here about how to stay in Budget Mode while on vacation.

This article was inspired by the Hotel Fees Watchlist we created because it seems as though everyone is talking about how expensive staying at a specific hotel can get. So we made one ourselves so you don’t have to go through the research yourself!
We wrote an article debunking some of the common myths related to hotel fees. If you would like to learn more, you can find that here.
Calculate the fee

The next thing you’ll want to do is calculate how much hotel fees are for this stay. Hotel fees can include things like resort fees, daily parking fees, spa treatments, or extra night charges.
Most hotels group their general room service, housekeeping, and laundry services into one package called “beverage and housekeeping.” This cost is usually included in the regular rate of the hotel so it does not need to be factored in the total price.
For the purposes of calculating the planet hollywood resort fee, we will only factor in the resort fee. This includes things such as online booking tools, use of the fitness facilities, early check-in/ late check-out privileges, and more. All of these factors add up and get tacked onto the already expensive resort fee.
Be aware that some resorts will hide the exact amount of their resort fee, instead giving you an estimate. Make sure to ask if the venue lists all of the amenities that come with the fee!

Email the contract to your guest

If you are planning on staying at one of our hotels or attending an event at our hotel, it is very important that you look through the contract carefully for the resort fee!
The hotel will usually include some sort of discount or voucher for their own site or another site in the resort fees section. Make sure you check out those sites as well as this article! They may also include a coupon for free breakfast or lunch at a local restaurant or food court.
Tell your guest to read the contract

Like we mentioned before, there is always “rent” that comes with staying at an outside party or event, as well as hotel fees. This is what most people are not aware of when they find themselves underpaying for a room because of this fee!
Hotel fees can add up quickly depending on how many nights you stay in a given period, and it is very common to be hit with them right after checking out.
Enjoy your stay

This article will tell you how much it costs to enjoy a night out at Planet Hollywood Resort! There is an average 1-month fee that every guest has to pay, which includes: hotel room rate, resort fees, food and drink purchases, day passes, and entertainment tickets. We have compiled all of these costings here so you do not have to look through each one yourself!
We also included some tips for savvy guests to avoid paying extra money while staying at PH.
Tell others about the resort fee

There is an additional hotel room reservation service charge that has not changed since 2010, when it was first introduced at this resort. This is their so-called “resort fees” or “service charges.” It used to be called a tourist tax because of this reason!
This extra money is typically referred to as the “Planet Ho Visa Checkout Online Rebooking Service Charge.” Some people call it the rebooking service charge or RSVC for short.
The way this works is pretty complicated though, so we will try our best to break it down here for you.
There is usually a very small cost associated with checking out of your room online through the site they use to connect you with after you check out. This usually includes a one time credit card authorization process that helps them prevent fraud by confirming there are no pending purchases before granting access. This also covers some basic security features such as an annual membership which most have free these days.
However, what many don’t realize is that most major sites now require extended validation codes (EVICs) in addition to the normal account information needed to verify ownership. An EVIC is a proof of identity document that shows who you say you are along with where you live and work.
Some examples of this include your driver license, passport, utility bill, etc. You get this verified once during sign up and never need to update it again.
Pay the fee

If you are visiting The Strip for the first time or just to check out the resort-like feel, there is an additional cost to stay at one of their hotels that has sparked controversy. This cost is what they refer to as a hotel joiner’s fee or a resort fees payment.
This hidden price tag comes in the form of expensive daily parking, resort fees paid directly to the casino, and/or a room upgrade. Some say these fees are excessive while others believe it is necessary to keep up with ever increasing lodging costs.
The average person traveling to Las Vegas will spend around $40 per night staying somewhere else than a Hotel within walking distance to someplace fun. There are many ways to enjoy The Strip without paying this extra fee so most people don’t experience it. For those who do pay the fee though, it can add up very quickly!
There is no excuse not to look into whether or not your best bet is to visit during off season or spring break since The Strip hotel fees drop significantly then.
Dislike the fee

The resort fee has gone through several changes since it was first introduced in 2011, but one thing stays the same: people do not like it!
Since its inception, there have been different versions of this fee depending on how much money you make an average spend per day at the hotel. The most recent addition to the fees is for a night-time guest or frequent visitor.
If you are part of this group (which we assume includes almost everyone reading this article!), your room will now also include access to the Hotel Club Network, which can cost anywhere from $150 to $300 per year. This typically consists of things such as premium cable channels, international movie streaming services, and more.
This will definitely be worth it if you enjoy watching movies or listening to music, but for users who are mostly outside looking in, this may feel excessive. For example, why should I pay for HBO when I don’t even watch that many shows?
We get it - sometimes guests need help paying their bills, but adding a yearly membership to something that you use sporadically seems a little out of place.
