How To Hollywood Glam Waves
As we all know, hairdressing is more than just cutting hair! There are so many different styles and looks you can create with your skills as a professional hairstylist. One of our favorites is the glamorous wave.
Brunette professionals have been creating beautiful waves for years. They’re such striking looks that it has become one of our favorite style trends. And now, learning how to do this look is easier than ever!
In this article, I will go over everything you need to know about doing glamourous waves. From getting the supplies to taking your first steps, we’ll talk about them together.
Use a small amount of product

A few very heavy drops is all you need for this trick! Most gals use way too much which looks really messy and clumpy. One drop will do the job beautifully!
There are two main reasons why using more than one drop can look so horribly oomph-y. First, it takes longer to apply the wave shapely as opposed to having a thick coat quickly.
Second, there’s not enough time to let the hair dry before washing it out. When washing your hair, make sure to pull through as much moisture as possible so that it doesn’t get tangled up.
Apply to a dry hair style

The first step in doing waves is deciding how you want your hairstyle to look! There are two main styles that most people know how to do with waves, bantu-rolls and big beach curls. Both of these can be done at home!
To create beautiful bantu-rolled hair, start by dividing into three parts very wet (not totally watery) hair. Then roll up the top half of the hair, using strong natural roots as support. Once this is done, apply some heavy hold hairspray and let it air dry.
For more classic beach wave looks, pull out your curling iron and get ready for some large, round rolls. To achieve this, find sections of thick, long hair and divide it away from head to end. As you curl each section, make sure to tuck the ends under the roller or they will stick and break off the roll. When all sections are curled, use a comb or brush to smooth down the hair.
Use a heat protectant
One of the biggest beauty trends right now is doing your own hair! With all the resources available to us these days, almost anyone can achieve looks that are beyond professional level. Hairstyles are very popular, especially with large beachy or curly waves.
Many people start by buying some fake hairs and then styling them into beautiful shapes. But what if you don’t have any fake hairs? Or what if you want to do more than just wave your hair around?
Thinning your hair down will eliminate most of the ways to get flashy curls and waves. What if we told you there was a way to get great looking soft natural curls though?!
It’s true! There is a product called “heat protective spray” which helps prevent breakage while adding some extra bounce to your locks. Luckily, it is totally affordable and easy to use!

Use a wide-tooth comb

As mentioned before, natural hair looks are always in style, but when it comes to glamping or beach vacations, professional hairstyling is important. When traveling with your hair at home, you can easily take care of it yourself by using some products and techniques!
Many people use the word “wavy” to describe naturally curly haired individuals, but there is no one right way to achieve a glampy wave. Different people apply different amounts of hold as their hair dries, which makes them get slightly different results. Some people use very strong hairsprays that cause his or her waves to go limp quickly, while others use lighter ones that keep their curls fresh and bounce off the scalp a little bit.
A great trick is to use a wide-tooth comb. A wide-tooth comb has wider, longer parallel teeth than normal combs have, making it easier to create large, soft waves. This is particularly helpful if your hair is extremely thick and/or dry because it will give you more control over how much curl you want to add to your hair.
Lift with a brush

The next way to do this is by using either natural hairs that have been mixed with cream or fake hair that has been glued onto your own hair as a cap. This technique can be done at home!
By mixing different shades of brown, white, blonde, and black hairs together, more dramatic waves are possible! By gluing the top onto your own hair, you can easily take it off if needed.

Blow dry using a low speed

The first step in creating any hairstyle is always choosing your tools! When doing wavy or curly haired people, most start by either curling the hair with a large round brush or use a flat iron to smooth down the waves.
For this article we will be talking about how to do professional looking glam wave nails. So let’s get started!
First things first, you will need some very fine hairs that are slightly darker than your natural color. These can be obtained from anywhere such as your own scalp, legs, underarms, etc. It does not matter if they are short or long, it just needs to be slightly lighter in tone then your normal hair color.
To make the nail grow faster, you must reduce the effect of hydrogen ions in the water. This can be done through exposure to sunlight or by using an acid based soap instead of regular ones. Use 2 tablespoons of baking soda mixed into 1 cup of warm water for every medium length nail. Work those nails hard!
After washing your hands, put one drop of cream style glue (like Glue Sticks) onto each side of the cuticle area on each nail and press together. Let sit for 5 minutes, then file off the excess.
Use the right tool for the job

There are several ways to achieve great waves, but none of them work if you're not using the correct tool for the task. Using too thin a brush will result in very fuzzy or even broken hair waves. A thicker brush can create big weighty clumps that don't move smoothly.
A well-treasured hairdryer is one of the most important beauty tools you'll ever invest in. Many people think their dryer is already the best it can be, so they don't look into other types much. But your hairstylist or personal trainer might have recommended another model, though.
That's totally fine! Different hairstyles require different tools, depending on what style you want to do. In this article, we'll discuss some easy ways to add more fun wave designs to your repertoire.
Wipe down your hair tool after use

When your hair is completely dry, run a very fine-toothed comb (or your fingers) through it from root to tip, going easy with just one length at a time.
Then, using the same paddle brush or round brush, roll up the ends of each wave in the opposite direction of how they were rolling before. Press hard so that no part of the wave can escape!
After this, set the waves aside to dry for several hours or overnight. Once done, wash them out with a size appropriate mat or comb. Repeat until you get perfect soft, glistening curls!
Editor’s note: Try setting your own natural curls into place first to see if they hold their shape well before adding all the other touches.
