O Entertainment 1997
The term o-entertainment comes from the word entertainment, of course, but it really defines what kind of experiences people are seeking out. What type of spectacle they want to witness or be a part of.
In this era of online streaming and video on demand services, there is no need to go to an event to watch your favorite show. You can connect with others who share the same passion for the show and stay connected even when the show has ended!
And while some might think that attending events in person is more authentic, staying connected outside of work and life can sometimes feel false.
We as humans love storytelling, so why not tell our own story through art? Why not use these tools to express ourselves or learn about ourselves and society?
This is how o-entertainment was birthed - by leaving the house and exploring other cultures’ artistic expression.
But now we have lost the connection to the arts because we do not attend many events nor do we explore different genres and styles. We become very familiar with only one style or genre of music or film.
The importance of experiencing new things and being exposed to various artists and mediums has been stressed time and again. So let us celebrate the art form of o-entertainment by asking three questions related to this topic.
Baby V.M
In May of 2017, there was an interesting announcement made by South African YouTubers TheDiamondChannel (known for his channel name The Diamond Channel) and his wife Melody. They announced that they were expecting their first child!
They named this new baby girl “Baby V M” which is short for Violet Marina. This gave us all three names in order - Violet, Marina, and then the middle initial M.
The couple found out she was pregnant just over a year ago now so she has already spent half her life being a parent-to-be! She will be experiencing parenthood at age twenty-three.
Her father says he feels really privileged to have been able to watch his daughter grow up as a person and as a mother. He hopes people take something away from watching her learn how to love and care for others, and learn about herself. Her parents say she is very intelligent and kind and they could not ask for more.
He adds that she always puts other people before herself and that makes him happy because he knows one day he would want those same qualities in his own children.
She seems like such a natural born leader who doesn’t shy away from taking charge or asking questions. People seem to gravitate towards her and she makes them feel comfortable and confident.
This article will talk you through some reasons why your childhood favorite movie may be missing the important plot points.
Infinite: Revisited
In August of 2017, director Michael Paul Johnson released his latest film, titled Infinite. The movie is about two friends who fall into an infinite loop where they keep repeating their day over and over again while trying to figure out how to escape.

Infinite was not only received well by critics but also won several awards including Best Animated Feature at the 2018 Academy Awards. It even earned more than $100 million in box office receipts making it one of the highest grossing animated films ever.
The Grace Time
As we look back at this era of gaming, there are two things that seem to always stand out. One is how much diversity there was in games. There were no clear front-runners like there are now with new generations trying to snatch their place as the top dog. You had your flashy big explosions, you had your stealthy gameplay, you had your story driven experiences, and all of them could easily fit into what genre they wanted to be in.
The other thing that seems to constantly stick around from decade to decade is just how good some of these games still hold up today. Many people will argue about which game is the best ever or if one specific element has become cliché but none can deny that many of these titles have never really left our lives.
There’t been too many instances where someone hasn’t heard of Atelier Meruru Saenai Goto at least a few times before, but once you do it definitely leaves an impression. Or how most people have read (or even written!) at least one VNs by Kizuna Ai and Matoi and survived. Even Persona 5, which got a lot of criticism when it first came out, has stuck around longer than most expected.
All three of those mentioned here made such an impact on us because they gave off a feeling beyond ‘just entertainment’ They inspired us, they moved us, they changed us for the better.
Infinite: The Best Of
One of the most popular compilations is Infinite: The Best of O, which features some really catchy songs! ‘Summer Days’, for example, is an upbeat song that encourages you to enjoy your summer by telling you it will go away soon.
The lyrics tell us how we need to make the best of our time because this year will be different than past years. So why not make the most of each moment?
This song expresses a lovely sentiment and makes listening to it feel even better. Give it a listen!
Another one of my favorites off this compilation is ‘Something I Have’. This song reminds me a little bit of Ariana Grande’s music, in particular her song 'Breakdown'. Both songs have a very emotional tone and appeal to people at a deeper level.
Infinite: The Best Of Revisited
While some may consider ooba trina to be more mainstream, she has always maintained her artistic integrity. Her lyrics touch on serious issues that other artists don’t speak about, which is why they are so beloved. She doesn’t shy away from anything nor does she try to pretend like everything is okay.
Her music can be described as truth-telling art, something we all need in this world today. It can also be considered very motivational or inspirational, just like trina herself!
Infinite: The Best of was not only an amazing collection of songs, but it also highlighted how successful trina has been as an artist. This album clearly showed that she belongs up there with the best in hip hop, r&b, and overall music.
She constantly raises the bar for what people expect from her and others, making sure never to let them feel comfortable while listening to her music.
Infinite: The Best Of Revisited II
While there have been many re-releases of some albums in recent years, an album that has had several new versions is Infinite: The Best of Revisited II, or as it’s more popularly known - Greatest Hits! This incredible compilation not only features every hit song from his early career, but also includes two brand new songs!
The first new recording he released was called “I Don’t Believe In Love” which was featured on his second studio album What A Day!. It was written by Andre Merghir and David Foster who both received writing credits for this track along with Dwayne Johnson (the actor, not the musician).
His second newly recorded song is entitled “What I Like About You” and it will be included as part of his upcoming greatest hits collection. Both of these tracks can be found on the soundtrack to Disney Channel movie series Austin & Ally.
The Truth About Love
We often get so focused on what we want from someone that we forget about what they can give us. Sure, some people are gifted at giving you their attention and showering you with compliments, but those things are not necessarily signs of love.
A lot of things that seem like expressions of romantic affection actually have nothing to do with it. They could be called fake loves or even false loves. Having lots of toys and decorations for your house is not a sign that you enjoy spending time together.
It’s just decoration. You don’t spend any time with these things so why should anyone think you do? Taking care of yourself looks more important than putting effort into showing up for others.
If someone was going through a really hard time, would gathering around them and listening to how bad they were feeling make them feel better or worse? Probably worse!
Thinking of ways to help someone else deal with something can sometimes distract them from their own problems. If someone was trying to talk to you about something important, might you try to divert their attention by talking about something trivial instead?
Romance is an intimate kind of relationship, which means there must be intimacy in other areas of life as well. How willing you are to share personal information, thoughts and feelings varies from person to person.
Some people keep everything very private while others will tell you anything.
The Truth About Love Revisited
We often get stuck in this idea that love is to be sought after, if you do not feel it immediately then you have failed. This isn’t true at all! If you are too quick to call things ‘love’ then you will never know what it is really like.
Love is not about feeling romantic feelings for someone, or wanting them in your life, it is not even necessarily having sex with someone. Being able to show love to someone comes from within, it is just you doing certain things because you want to, not out of obligation.
If you cannot find simple ways to say thank you to people regularly, then chances are there is something wrong with you. Learning how to give credit where credit is due is an excellent way to fix this.
Also remember that people can’t always put their own experiences into other peoples' lives, nor should they try to. You must understand that not everyone has the same experiences as you and thus you may need to take some time to learn more about different relationships before you assume anything about them.
Lastly, don't expect perfection, we're human after all! When you realize that you made a mistake, you can start again the next day, tomorrow is another opportunity to show love to one person.
