The Best Animated Films in 2016
This article will be talking about one of the most popular animated movies currently, how far I'll go. The movie is called How to Train Your Dragon 2 and it was released in March 2017! If you have not seen this movie yet then there is no reason for you to watch it unless you want to know more about the film.
The story of the movie follows Hiccup, an adolescent Viking who discovers that his village has been destroyed by dragons. He must now find new lands with new people to live among while also training himself to become a dragon slayer. Along the way he meets many interesting characters and learns about self-confidence, friendship, love, and loyalty.
In the end, he finds his true purpose which makes him happy. Many feel that the movie is inspired by Norse mythology but it is actually inspired by Ancient Egyptian mythologies.

As we all know, there are many ways to spend your time in this life-work balance thing we have called ‘life.’ For some, it is spending their days working long hours at a job they no longer feel connected to, with little to nothing coming out of it but a pay check. They may even be actively looking for a new position, but ever-mounting debt makes staying put difficult.
For others, it can mean giving up things like traveling or leisure activities because they just don’t have enough money saved up. No one really says anything about the other person, though - perhaps everyone knows what kind of person you are, but themselves doesn’t want to acknowledge it.
It could also be due to fear - of being judged, of not doing enough, of not living hard enough. Or maybe it’s just plain old jealousy.
Whatever the reason, such behaviors will never make you happy. It's like someone who spends every day watching TV instead of engaging in more productive activities. Eventually, they'll get tired of staring into space and wishing they were somewhere else.
The Lego Movie
In The Lego Movie, we are given an insight into the life of master builder Emile "E" Mission accomplished! He built his own brick-built vehicle, constructed using all types of LEGO bricks.
The movie follows him as he attempts to get this vehicle off the ground while facing many different challenges along the way. Although it may seem like a simple vehicle at first glance, there is a lot going on beneath the surface.
There are several themes and concepts explored in the film that relate to personal growth, motivation, acceptance, teamwork, etc. These messages can apply to any person who wants to work on their self-confidence or want to create a team environment.
Overall, The Lego Movie is an entertaining watch that will make you laugh and think about some important things in your life.
Finding Nemo
In an effort to find his son, Dory’s father takes her to see all of the oceans in the world for possible answers. While looking through windows at different environments, they come across something unexpected- another fish that isn’t quite like the others!
This odd fish is smart and curious, so she invites him to join their group to learn more about it. The two begin to form a bond over shared experiences and secrets, making each other feel comfortable enough to be themselves.
Nemo eventually reveals himself as someone who wants help finding his family, and he seems hopeful when Dory mentions having a kid one day. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when his relatives show up and ask if he has started searching yet.
Dory convinces him to give them a few days before telling everyone else that he doesn’t want to look anymore, but he also can’t bear to lose hope completely. After some prodding, he agrees to start looking again, and promises to keep trying until he finds them.
The Little Mermaid
In the movie, The Little Mermaid, there is an important scene where the main character, Ariel, goes diving in the ocean to find her prince. As she comes out of the water, she sees his boat sailing away with no sign of him. Devastated, she sinks into a very depressed state.
Ariel then hears something moving towards her from under the sea. She looks down and notices that she has legs! At this new discovery, she dances for joy and waves her arms around like a little kid would do when they found a toy at the store.
This is one of the most significant parts of the film because it symbolizes how much happiness you are looking for will eventually be found. It also reminds us that even if your heart is broken, you’re still worth something.
Your value does not depend on someone else; you know your own worth. You are worthy of love and friendship, and you deserve to live a happy life.
That is what The Little Mermaid teaches us about being happier. If you learn how to accept yourself as you are now, you will start living a happier life.
Toy Story
When watching Pixar movies, you get very attached to their characters. This is clearly seen when they come to an end after three or so films. They leave behind something that leaves a lasting impression on watchers. These farewells usually include a small scene between two of your favorite characters.
In the case of Toy Story 3, one such goodbye happens in the middle of the movie. Woody (the cowboy toy) and Buzz (the space alien toy) are walking down the beach as we see them. Suddenly, Andy’s Little Friend comes out from his bedroom and grabs Woody by the leg! He takes off with him leaving only Buzz behind. You quickly realize what has happened- Andy just got rid of his toys!
This does not seem like a good idea at all! Luckily for Buzz, he was prepared for this situation. He uses his special stealth mode which involves sticking his head through a hole and humming. The rest is already known about teddy bears- people love them and go crazy over them! So, he decides to be transformed into a new toy - “The New Guy”.
There is a little more than a minute left in the movie when this happens, but it feels much longer due to how emotional it makes us become. It is kind of funny to watch because The New Guy keeps trying to catch Andy’s eye, but he never gets any attention.
Monsters, Inc.
In this movie, monsters come to our world and teach us lessons about ourselves. They can be scary, but they also show how much we need other people in order to feel happy.
In this case, the monster characters are Sulley (James Franco) and Mike (Billy Ray Cyrus), two monsters working at Scare Labs. Both of them make clever jokes that hit very hard.
Sulley is an egotistical jerk who constantly makes fun of his co-worker and friend, the polite and shy creature named Boo. He seems obsessed with getting ahead by any means necessary, even if it includes making life difficult for others.
Mike is one of the most likeable characters in the film. He is funny, friendly, and always willing to help anyone in trouble. Even though he doesn’t know what human things are, he goes out of his way to learn more about them.
Monsters, Inc. teaches us that being friends is better than being enemies. Being allies instead of foes helps you get through times of stress or struggle.
