Located in North America, Grauman's Chinese Theater opened its doors for the first time back in 1927. At that time it was known as Paramount Pictures Studio No. 2 or simply as Studio B. It took eight years to complete and cost around $2 million (over $20 million today).

The building is actually two separate structures connected together with an outdoor courtyard. The main structure has six floors of offices while the second one houses a theater. On each floor there are between 50-100 rooms that can be rented out for filming.

Hollywood and Highland

Located just west of Hollywood Boulevard, this area is home to many popular attractions including The Grove, House Of Blues, AMC Theater, and Disney’s California Adventure! Many people refer to it as “The Golden State" due to all of the tourist activity that takes place here throughout the year.

Many movie theaters can be found in this district such as the El Capitan Theatre or the Arcadia Theater. There are also several shopping centers located within walking distance of each other.

Something unique about this area is the collection of skyscrapers you will find here. Two of the tallest buildings in the city are both owned by billionaire media mogul Stan Kroenke. One is called the Nordberg Tower and the other is the Vornado Towers, which go under his company name. Both of these beautiful structures have restaurants and bars inside of them.

Kodak Theatre

The next destination on our tour is something that not many people know about - the Kodak Theatre! This place has incredible history, having been built in 1950 for $6 million as an entertainment venue known as the Music Box Theater. It was later purchased by inventor George Emerson and his wife Florence who completely renovated it to be better equipped to host larger events such as concerts.

In 1968, the Emersons sold the building to Warner Brothers along with their movie production company, United Artists. Since then, this beautiful 5,000 square foot space has played home to some of the biggest movies of all time including The Matrix Reloaded and The Empire Strikes Back!

Sadly, the theatre went through significant renovations in 2008 which took away much of its character. However, now that it’s being reimagined as a concert hall, there are plans to retain some of the original features like the façade and art deco style interior.

Kodak will remain the theater’s name but it won’t necessarily stay in that location. According to a representative from the studio, they want to give it “new life” so why don’t we talk about what that might look like?

Concert Venues Are A Money Making Machine

It makes sense that big companies would invest in music venues since they make money. Concert tickets are expensive (like anything else!), so most people enjoy them more when you pay less to watch them.

Located in South Florida, Universal is one of the world’s leading producers and distributors of entertainment and technology products. The company boasts some of the most well known brands such as Mummy Returns, Transformers, Jurassic World, Fast & Furious 8, Harry Potter, and more!

In fact, their blockbuster hit series include over $4 billion in worldwide box office receipts and have won several awards for both writing and production.

The studio also produces major films through its own film division as well as external productions. These projects not only contribute to the success of the franchise but help strengthen the studio’s hand in gaining creative control of other media.

Universal has also invested heavily into developing and producing cutting edge technology that helps bring their properties to life. For example, using computer software and robotics they designed and built the ATOMIC GOOFING VEHICLE (AGV) which was featured in the movie Bewbsers.

Paramount Pictures

Located in South Los Angeles, Paramount Pictures is home to some of the most well known movies of all time. Some of their biggest films include Mission Impossible, The Lord of the Rings Series, Spiderman, Jurassic World, and more!

The studio was founded back in 1916 by Edward B. Markson and Carl Laemmle. These two partnered up with Alexander Doxey Foster to form a company called Film Booking Office (FBO). They then rebranded it as “General Film” before finally settling on its current name.

In 1934, just three years after the studio opened, Howard Hughes bought a large chunk of stock which gave him control over not only the film production side of things but also the media business side like television and magazines as well!

Since then, the studio has won several awards for their achievements including twenty-one Academy Awards, sixteen Golden Globes, and one Pulitzer Prize. Not too shabby!

These accolades are definitely deserved because the people working at this studio take great pride in what they do and how hard they work towards making sure every project succeeds. They also have very strong bonds off the set so that when needed, everyone comes together to achieve a common goal.
