A feeling of home where you know your neighbors and people look out for each other is very possible here. There are many ways to stay active at The Grove including walking/running paths, pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, pickleball areas, and sports fields.
Greater Miami
There are many things you can do while in South Florida for spring or summer break, one of them being exploring the area. Some areas around campus make it difficult to explore beyond the school boundaries so getting outside your school zone is important to take some fun trips!
There are several great ways to spend time outside of class studying, eating, shopping, or just having fun. One way to do this is by taking advantage of all that the surrounding area has to offer via vehicle.

Downtown Miami
Located in downtown Miami, just steps away from top hotels like The St Regis and Biscayne Bay, the Hotel Monaco is a beautiful hotel with incredible service. It boasts some of the best amenities you’ll find anywhere, such as rooftop pool access and a restaurant/bar next door.
The Hotel Monaco offers easy access to both South Beach and the Financial District. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance or take a short Uber ride away.

Located in one of Miami’s most affluent areas, Sunny Isles is home to some of the city’s highest cost of living spaces. Luxury apartments and condos here can easily be over $1,000/month which makes it difficult for many people with lower income limits to live close by.
There are several different public transportation options available nearby as well. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and trolleys run late at night so you don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to park your vehicle while getting around.
