V Channel Shows List
All too often, people get stuck in a rut with what types of shows they watch. They start watching one show and before you know it half the day has flown by as you spend hours glued to your TV screen.
This is not a good thing because it can become tiring for yourself and those around you.
You will also notice that your body starts displaying signs such as weight gain, mood changes, and sleep deprivation.
So, how do you break out of this habit? You make a change!
You try another genre or channel of television. Or you find new channels where you can watch television more healthily.
By being aware of the other genres and channels there are available, you will know what types of shows to look into.
There are many ways to enjoy a show without needing to spend lots of money nor requiring special equipment. These are called streaming services and you can find plenty online and through apps.
Some of these have free trials which is great to check out before investing in their service.
Broad City

One of the most beloved sitcoms in recent years is Comedy Central’s Broad City. The show follows two best friends who live together in New York City. A lot of humor comes from their personal relationships, workplace tensions, and prying neighbors and family members apart.
A major theme of the show is how privileged and wealthy one character is in comparison to her friend. This can be seen in everything from the house they stay in to what kind of cars they own. It also includes the characters’ professions - one is an architect while the other works as a lawyer.
Another important element of the show is how involved each other are in each other’s lives. Many episodes feature at least one or both women traveling away for work or vacation so that relationship gets stressed out.
Lastly, there’s the constant talk about sex. Both women are very open about having it and doing things with each other.
Master of None

One of the most consistently hilarious sitcoms is Netflix's Master of none. The show follows comedian Aziz Ansari as Dev, an actor struggling to make it in Hollywood. He lives with his roommate Rachel (played by actress Alanis Morissette) and her two kids from a previous relationship. His best friend is the over-the-top chef Michael Cade (Jaden Smith).
Aziz has always been known for being very down to earth and comfortable in his own skin, which makes him a great role model. But he isn't afraid to throw some funny one-liners into the mix or to express how much pressure people place on himself to be perfect.
His personal life is just as entertaining as his work, making this show worth your time if you are not already invested. Besides, who doesn’t want to watch someone cook while also talking about their emotional state?
Visually, the show was flawless too! All of the scenes take place in America so there are many different settings and environments that they use to convey mood or setting.
The music also contributes to the overall tone of each episode, changing according to what is happening. It all definitely adds to the comedy factor.
You’re Ugly Too

Over the past few years, we have seen an explosion in popularity of channel show that focus heavily on beauty hauls or “v-chalking” as it is called. These shows follow various YouTube creators as they do their makeup looks or take care of their hair for a given time frame.
Some people gain inspiration from these voyeuristic videos to try new things themselves!
Many beauty gurus are known for being very friendly and open about their beauty products so you may be inspired by them too. Many users now search for beauty tips and tricks using those individuals as examples!
There are many reasons why this style of content is growing in popularity but one of the biggest ones is because everyone can relate to it!
You start off feeling ugly due to your own personal struggles with self-confidence and then you watch someone else feel beautiful which makes you feel better about yourself.
It also gives you motivation to try new things to improve the way you look and feels good! How could it not?
Beauty trumps any other trait every once in a while at least haha. So, whether you are trying to learn how to use make up more effectively, want some inspo for your daily life, or just need a little pick me up, watching beauty vlogs is a great way to enjoy yourself.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

While not technically a comedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisie is definitely an entertaining watch if you love laugh-out-loud funny scenes. It may be more appropriate to call it a satire of workplace sitcoms in the early 1980’s.
The show takes place in Chicago around 1984, just after Ronald Reagan was elected president for the second time. This setting adds another layer to the show as we see how people reacted to his administration and style at that time.
Throughout the entire first season, viewers are treated to many laughs via Mrs. Marge (Aline Broderick) as she navigates through her career and life while trying to balance being a good mother with chasing her dreams.
Her job does not come easy to her, which makes her character very relatable. Even though the situations can become frustrating or even depressing at times, she always finds a way to keep going no matter what else might get in her way.
That is something we can all relate to, especially since some of us feel like our lives struggle to find true success. That is why this show has such an enduring appeal beyond its comedic value.
Ted Lasso

As we grow older, we begin to feel that there is no way to make our lives better unless you are doing something significant with your life- which usually means leaving home and starting a career or moving into more serious relationships. This can be tough as it requires investing time in things that may not return quick rewards, but will keep you happy for years to come.
Many people start their careers at large corporations where they work for the same company their whole lives. These companies want employees who are loyal and have little intention of changing that. It is very hard to find happiness working for the same organization your entire life, which is why most people do not stick around long enough to reap the benefits of this position.
If you are looking to invest in yourself and learn new skills then staying an employee is probably not the best option for you. You will need to look outside of your department for employment and this could be tricky if you don’t put out positive energy during interviews. People will also question your loyalty when you leave what seems like your comfortable job situation.
It is important to be confident in yourself and know that being successful doesn't depend on someone else's success. Your success comes from within yourself and once you realize that, succeeding through life becomes much easier.
Sex Education

Recent developments in sex education are very interesting to note. Many schools are offering more than just information about contraceptives, but also lessons about body shape diversity, gender differences, how to identify sexual harassment, and even courses on queer sexuality!
There have been many different approaches to teaching students about sex. Some focus entirely on abstinence until marriage, while others emphasize using protection methods such as condoms for contraception and/or disease prevention.
Many believe that emphasizing abstinence before marriage is too narrow of an approach to take when trying to help students develop healthy relationships. By only focusing on not having intercourse, you may be missing key messages about consent, relationship health, or how to deal with problems in relationships.
By avoiding any sort of formal lesson about masturbation, or about what women’s bodies need to feel good, we risk limiting some crucial skills that young people will learn. Students who aren’t given these tools are likely to suffer from anxiety or depression later in life because they don’t know how to deal with their own feelings.
These lessons can also go beyond educating students about anatomy and reproduction, helping them understand why it is important to respect other individuals and your body boundaries. Health issues related to inexperience with sex are often overlooked due to this lack of knowledge. For instance, diseases like HPV and HIV can be spread through genital contact so ensuring that students are informed about both men and women’s bodies and how to respond to cues is essential.
You’re Gonna Love Tomorrow

The next channel you will learn about is the vertical channel or, as some call it, the vortex channel. This channel is very different from the horizontal channel we discussed before.
The vertical channel is one that encourages you to keep moving forward. It teaches you how to advance up your career ladder- not necessarily through more advanced positions within an organization, but by advancing into new areas of work.
By exploring other parts of the job market, you are expanding what position you hold in society. You are teaching yourself things such as psychology, sociology, politics, economics, and business so that you can better understand people and why they do what they do.
These lessons apply beyond just workplace relationships, too. For example, if someone else’s behavior is having an effect on you, they might be influencing you for good or bad depending on their character.
There is no wrong way to use this information, though.
In My Opinion

As I mentioned before, there’s no universal definition of what makes a show good or not. What people seem to agree upon is that a show needs an engaging cast and storylines that are consistent and interesting. Beyond that, some say a show needs to be funny, while others emphasize that it should make you feel something (most commonly joy or sadness). Some say a show needs to be smart, whereas others suggest that it should at least be understandable.
The thing about all these qualities though is that they can either be proof for the show being successful or failing. A show with an engaged audience and media praise will always satisfy the first two points, but if it lacks any other traits then it may just be too self-focused. A show that is consistently praised for its humor might lose focus as soon as someone else feels that it takes itself way too seriously. A show that users describe as “smart” could easily go overthe top with complicated plots and themes that only appeal to very intellectual individuals.
