Recent developments in superhero movies have seen a rise in superheroes that are not just focused on action, but also focus on deeper themes and storylines. Films like Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther use their main characters as bridges to tell more in-depth stories about heroism, leadership, family, and power.
Superheroes such as Captain America and Iron Man understand the value of teamwork and friendship. The protagonists of these films do not get along at first, but through conversations they come to realize how much they mean to each other.
Captain America: “I’m trying to figure out what it means to be a hero.” Steve Rogers says this line towards Tony Stark after he learns his friend is leaving to create his own technology.
Iron Man: “That’s okay. You go ahead and be a normal person now.” He replies with a smile before walking away.
This movie follows a similar plot structure to these two films. It begins with our protagonist who is not necessarily a heroic character. They do not actively work for good all the time, and they struggle with whether or not to trust others. Then, different events occur which force them into situations where they must make a decision between staying safe or helping someone else.
These types of plots are very common in fiction, so most people can relate to certain aspects. This allows for greater audience participation because it does not feel overly familiar.
What happened to the other X-Men?
While most of us grew up watching the X-Men, in recent years there have been quite a few cancellations and departures. Some of these include: Wolverine’s retirement, Professor Xavier passing away, Jean Grey leaving after she was killed, and Cyclops and Storm divorcing.
All of these events left many fans wondering what would happen next for our favorite mutants. Would they find new teams or would they just not appear at all?
Luckily, we are about to get some answers! Over the past year, several TV series and movies have made references to an organization called The Reavers. They refer to themselves as “the missing pieces of the puzzle” and their goal is to bring together all of the different mutant races under one roof.
The name Reaver actually comes from Marvel Comics villain Malcolm Coles. He appeared in five titles back in 1995 and 1996 and his last name is pronounced like the word raven with a V sound. His first name has no special meaning but it does start with the letter M so some people may associate him with that.
Colors resembling those of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants also resemble those of The Raveners which makes them related. Because he didn’t actively team up with any villains, he isn’t considered part of the Villain Team by some.

Will the new X-Men movie be good?
As of late, there have been many rumors about what kind of film series we will get to watch for the next set of films in the franchise. Some say it is going to focus only on the young mutants teaming up as they try to take down Magneto while others are saying an Apocalypse story arc will be done!

Will the new X-Men movie be as good as the other movies?
As we all know, Marvel Studios has been putting out quality superhero films for several years now. They have made many successful franchises such as The Avengers and Spiderman. With each film they add more depth to their characters and storylines while also creating new ones.

Will there be a new X-Men TV series?
The past few years have seen some major shifts in how comic book television is made. Studios like Marvel and DC are investing more heavily into their own streaming services, creating higher demand for newer comics to watch.
At the same time, older books that were not as well known are getting movie adaptations which help them gain exposure. For example, we now have an Aquaman film and a Wonder Woman sequel coming up!
This has left many fans with the question: will there ever be another live action adaptation of an X-Man property?
After all, Fox already owns the rights to several characters including Wolverine and Deadpool (both of which got films recently). They even just announced that they would rebuy the mutant team title Mutant Apocalypse so it can potentially get adapted at a later date.
What are the new characters like?
The show has three main protagonists, all of which have their own unique qualities that set them apart from each other. They are also some of the most important characters in the series!
The first protagonist is Diego Salazar (Nico Martinez). He is an undercover agent for AXE who works as a systems analyst at Axiom Inc., a technology company located in Chicago. His job there involves working with CPA’s to design software programs for clients.
Diego doesn’t know what his bosses at AXE told Lisa about him when he was hired, but he’s sure it had something do with why she left her position at the agency and came work here. When he finds out the truth, he’ll have to make a decision - betray your colleagues or your friends.
Next we have Kurt Fuller (Blake Morrison), the head of security at Axiom. He’s been working at the firm for over ten years now, so he knows everyone involved inside and out. Even though he’s usually keeping himself busy by tracking down rogue agents like Diego, he still makes time to look after those close to him.
Kurt isn’t just someone you can rely on either- he’s got his secrets too! Luckily, Diego is already aware of this due to his employment at the firm, making their friendship even stronger.
Who are the new X-Men?
The most well known member of the X-Men team is almost certainly Cyclops, leader of the squad. He has starred in his own show twice now (the first as Phoenix for five seasons) and was recently featured prominently in Captain America: Civil War.
He is probably also familiar to readers as the guy who can shoot beams of energy from his eyes. This power allows him to see things others cannot, which he uses extensively throughout the series!
Another popular character is Wolverine, a green furry beast with claws and adamantium skeleton that can heal rapidly. He made his debut back in 1974!
Then there’s Beast, an intelligent blue humanoid creature with horns and fur who is able to transform into any object or being. His original mutant ability was animating objects, so he could make himself a house out of wood.
What is the new X-Men movie about?
Many people have wondered what the next X-Men film will be called, or even if it will ever get made! Luckily, we now know what at least part of the plot for this upcoming installment has been revealed. The movie’s title is already known, and it was announced earlier this week. It is titled simply…X3!
The “X” in that moniker stands for an alternate (or sometimes referred to as “parallel”) universe. This concept was first introduced back in 2000 when writer Andy Diggle and artist Jocko O’Neill designed the character of Rogue in Marvel Comics’ New Mutants series. Since then, many other parallel Earths have been conceived, including one where Spider-Man becomes GhostSpider.

Will there be an X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie?
The future of the franchise seems to be in question after Deadline reported earlier this week that Fox has placed early development on what they are calling “The New Mutants” project, which is described as being about super heroes who come from different backgrounds with unique skills.
While details are very limited at this stage, it sounds like the film could potentially draw inspiration from both the original team of mutants in the comics and other popular superhero groups such as The Avengers or DC Comics’ Suicide Squad.
